How to read the results
When a marriage or divorce record is found, VerifyMyDate labels it with its source and a confidence level. When coverage is limited — for example, in a county that hasn't digitized older records — the report says so explicitly rather than implying a conclusion the sources can't support.
Absence of a record does not prove someone is unmarried. A record may exist in a county not covered, or may simply not be publicly accessible.
This page provides general, public information about record availability and is not legal advice. Access rules change, and county-level availability varies. VerifyMyDate searches what is lawfully accessible and clearly notes when coverage is limited. Absence of a record does not prove someone is unmarried.
